Good enough a little effort should be done in the bathroom which was not fresh enough.

The position of the hostel is good the staff is nice and helpfull

The night receptionist talked and laughed loudly late at night while talking on the phone (3am) which made us unable to sleep!

Pleasant

The location and the staff are perfect. It is close to all attractions and the neighborhood is the most lively in the city. You can find all kinds of food, drinks, markets, supermarkets, and transportation. The staff are very helpful and kind. They try to do their best to comfort you. If they hadn't behaved like that, we wouldn't have stayed there.

The accommodation needs renovation. Even though they clean it regularly, it looks quite worn-out and not clean enough. The bathrooms and toilets should definitely be renovated. There was all kinds of noise coming from the street which seems quite normal and understandable as the place is in the middle of a very lively and busy area. However, the noise from the other rooms and the corridors needs considering. And unfortunately I must say that the price is not a good value for this property.

We were very surprised for the price. Our first time staying in a Hostel and we can’t complain.

We didn’t expect much but I have to say we were very surprised. This is literally on Las Ramblas so near lots of restaurants and bars open till early hours of the morning. The receptionist was very helpful and check in took 10 minutes. The shared toilets aren’t the best however the room itself is exactly what you need. There was a balcony, clean room and sink inside our room. The property let us leave our bags there for the whole day after we checked out for convenience so we were very happy. You can also store your drinks and snacks in the fridge in community areas. The room can get hot in the night so maybe bring a fan.

The shared toilets definitely need a clean and freshen up.

Very Good

The Hostel is located in a very good location directly near La Rambla and a 7 Minute walk to the Port. Raquel, who works at the desk is super friendly and helpful. The Room I stayed in was spacious and had a privat bathroom. Although the bathroom facilities were quite outdated everything was clean and well maintained. All in all considering price, value and location it's a perfect place to stay.

Bathroom facilities are outdated and could use a fresh up.

What would you highlight about Hostal MiMi Las Ramblas

Not the freshest, but an ok value for money.

The location is great if you’re looking to be right in the middle of the most touristic street in the city. The staff were extremely nice and upgraded our room to one with a private bathroom without an extra charge (might be because we were traveling with a young toddler). I’m general, the room had everything necessary, was spacious enough and had 2 very large exterior windows, which you don’t come across often in Barcelona ;) I loved the windows and the view.

While the room was generally clean, the state of the property is so poor it seems it can’t be cleaned all the way at this point. The shower looked pretty bad, the overall smell in the toilet was strong. There was no air conditioning, only 2 fans, which worked well but still weren’t enough in the summer heat.

Great location and very good value for money. We were even upgraded for free when we checked in.

The noise outside from people partying went on until after 6am. My husband slept through it no problem but I am a light sleeper so struggled. We only stayed for one night on a Saturday so it might not be so much of an issue during the week.

Excellent location! Helpful and accommodating staffs. Comfortable bed, nice view of the street.

The Staffs are very accommodating! Even upgrade our room with a private toilet instead of sharing with other guests!

The location of the hotel was perfect , the staff were very helpful and friendly . We also stayed in the room with private bathroom even though we paid for the room with shared bathroom. An excellent option for a trip to Barcelona at an affordable price.
